1Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using localscreenshot ("the Service"), operated by SOFTLOGIC, a SASU registered in France (SIREN 101 233 401, RCS Lille Metropole), you agree to these terms, to the Acceptable Use Policy and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2What the Service does

The Service loads a public web page in a browser and returns a picture of it, as an image or a PDF. You can use it through your AI tools (MCP), from the command line, or through the API. You can ask for the page to be loaded from a chosen country.

What it does not do

  • It does not sign in to websites for you
  • It does not solve CAPTCHAs or get past paywalls
  • It does not promise that a website will accept the visit: some sites block automated browsers, and we then return a clear error

3Your account and your keys

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • One account per person or company. Creating several accounts to collect free credits is not allowed
  • Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for what is done with them
  • Tell us at once if you think a key has leaked. You can revoke a key at any time in the dashboard

4Credits and payment

  • A new account receives 50 free credits, once. They do not expire
  • A screenshot uses 1 credit. Some options use more, for example a screenshot from a chosen country. The cost is always shown before you take it
  • A failed screenshot is not charged. To prevent abuse, the number of failed screenshots per day is limited
  • Monthly plans give a number of credits each month. Unused monthly credits do not carry over: they start fresh each month
  • Credit packs are bought once and do not expire
  • There is no unlimited plan

Prices are on the Pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe and VAT is applied according to your location. We may change prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Cancelling and refunds

  • You can cancel a monthly plan at any time in Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for
  • No refunds are offered, unless the law requires one

5Acceptable use

The Service visits websites in your name, so the rules about what you may capture matter more than anything else on this page. They are in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: public pages only, nothing illegal, nothing that harms a website or a person.

6Your screenshots and other people's content

  • The pages you capture belong to their owners. We claim no right over them, and taking a screenshot gives you no right over them either
  • You are responsible for having the right to capture a page and to use the result
  • We keep a screenshot for 7 days, then delete it. Download what you need before then: we cannot restore it
  • We do not look at your screenshots, except to investigate abuse or when the law requires it

7Country and attestation

  • The country we report is the one we observed when the page was loaded, never simply the one you asked for
  • If we cannot confirm the country, the screenshot fails and is not charged. We never quietly use another country
  • The attestation is a signed technical record of what we observed. It is not legal proof and we do not present it as such

8Availability and limits

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it is available at every moment, and there is no service level agreement unless we sign one with you. Each account has limits on requests per minute and on screenshots running at once. We also limit how many screenshots hit the same website, across all customers. We may change the API with reasonable notice.

9Intellectual property

The Service, its software, its design and its documentation belong to SOFTLOGIC. You may not copy, modify or resell them without our written agreement.

10Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on a screenshot or an attestation

11Disclaimer

We make no warranty about:

  • Whether a given website can be captured, or will look the same from one moment to the next
  • The accuracy of the country databases we rely on
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service

12Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice when the abuse is serious or ongoing. When an account is closed:

  • Your right to use the Service ends at once
  • We delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy
  • Unused credits and the rest of a paid period are not refunded, unless the law requires it

You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

13Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will tell you by email or in the dashboard before a significant change applies. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising from these terms or from the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
