1Who we are

localscreenshot ("we", "us") is operated by SOFTLOGIC, a SASU registered in France (SIREN 101 233 401, RCS Lille Metropole), 23 rue des Tisserands, 59700 Marcq-en-Baroeul, France.

For your account and billing data, we are the data controller. For the content of the pages you ask us to capture, you decide what is captured and why: we process it on your behalf.

2What we collect

Your account

Your name and your email address. You sign in with Google, GitHub or a link we email you. There is no password. If you use Google or GitHub, we receive your name and email from them, and nothing else from your account there.

Your API keys

We store each key encrypted, so that you can copy it again from your dashboard. Keep it secret: anyone who has it can spend your credits.

The screenshots you take

For each screenshot: the page address, the options you chose, what the page answered (status, final address, title), the image, and, when you asked for a country, the attestation. The page address, the options, the result and the attestation are stored encrypted.

A screenshot can show other people's data. A public page may contain names, photos or comments. You choose what to capture, so you are responsible for having a valid reason to capture and keep it.

Usage and billing

How many screenshots you take per day, how many failed, and the credits used. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your card number.

Technical data

The IP address of your requests, used only to stop abuse (for example, too many wrong keys from one address), and standard server logs. Our logs do not contain the addresses of the pages you capture.

3Screenshots from a chosen country

When you ask for a country, the page is loaded through a proxy network, from an address in that country. The website you capture sees that address, not yours and not ours.

We check which country the address really belongs to and report that country. We do not keep the full address: the attestation only holds a shortened version and a one-way fingerprint.

4How we use your data

  • To take the screenshots you ask for and give them back to you
  • To keep your account, your keys and your credits
  • To take payments and send invoices
  • To prevent abuse of the service and of the websites it visits
  • To answer you when you write to us

We rely on our contract with you, on our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe, and on legal obligations for invoices. We do not sell your data and we do not use your screenshots to train anything.

5How long we keep it

WhatHow long
A screenshot: image, page address, options, result, attestation7 days, then deleted
The line left in your history: date, status, credits usedWhile your account exists. It holds nothing personal.
Your account, your keysUntil you delete your account
After you delete your accountPersonal data removed within 30 days
InvoicesAs long as the law requires

Backups follow the same rules with a short delay. Once a screenshot is deleted, we cannot get it back.

6Who we share it with
